Hehe, I've got 30ish cats. So it sort of doesn't matter if they die. I know, I know, it sounds cruel.. but it's true. Oh so true! LOL |
|
Actually I have had conversations with people who question the whole lucid dream thing and don't believe me when I tell them that it's been experimented on and has solid evidence, etc etc |

|
hehe, some nuts are hard to crack... especially if they're peanuts and you can't find the nut cracker... no, not the movie barbie and the nut cracker... god, do you people insist on making my life harder?!?! LOL |
|
I find i f i talk to a 'non lucid dreaming' friend, they tend to look at me as if i'm a little crazy... |

Hello! I should give some information about myself but I'm proud to say I don't like to talk about myself too much, I only give personal info when people ask and even then I am picky about what I share. Two facts though (well kind of three) my name is not Mitzie, I am not 31, and I was not born in 1931. |

hiya, welcome to DV. |

I am not sure if I did lose lucidity or not, I may have just forgotten the dream which was already dim enough. I tend to have very good dream recall, I generally remember at least one dream a night, though sometimes I remember several dream subjects but my brain forms them into one mangled dream. You know, like when you are chasing a little white rabbit with a top hat and cane and you end up in a room with a bunch of doors and the rabbit seems to have disappeared... |
|
well, sounds like you've achieved something with the spinning...i think what you have to try and do next is try to remember that after you've spun, the dreamscape will be stable again, and you can carry on doing whatever it was you were doing...i've heard some people use it to change location. |

hmmm...that's an intersting though...although regarding animals and lucid dreaming, i'd have to say no...because surely they would have to have the power of reason, of discernment? |

cats ARE better than dogs, aren't they ;D |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
Oh but I think cats can lucid dream. hah, now you people are going to think I'm nuts. Sometimes my cat's will go to sleept and they'll start twitching and all. And believe it or not, they sleepwalk. I think that if they can dream, they most certainly can lucid dream. |
|
Yeah, they definitely DREAM... but whether they can pull consciousness into it? I don't personally think so. But then who knows |

i definetely agree with the dreaming part...but not the bit about consciousness...cos to be conscious you are dreaming, you have to have the power of reasoning, in order to be able to tell the difference between waking and sleeping. |

Whoa i think my brain just fell out my ear... lmao... ok so maybe the cant lucid dream but hey, they might be smarter than you think |
|
Dolphins are a better question, because they have been shown to have a decent level of self awareness with the mirror test. |

Don't u know dolphins never sleep with their whole brain? They alternate left and right hemisphere, so a half of their consciousness is awake for going up and taking breath!!! They sleep with one half of the brain at a time and with one eye closed! |
