Alright I am a begginer and i was just wondering if i will sleep walk or something if i do have a Lucid Dream, also i bought some B-6 to help and i was wondering how much other people take.

From what I've read here there's little possibility of sleepwalking during an LD. About the B6, I've read you shouldn't take more than 2000-6000 MG over the span of a couple months. So figure out how much you're taking currently and how much it is monthly, and figure out about what's right. Remember that the recommended daily allowance for B6 is only 2 mg. Most B6 supplements I've been looking at are 25 mg, way more than is needed, but not specifically dangerous. There's a topic in another forum that's all about this, I'll go grab the link and edit in a few minutes.

It's hard to decide what to take really, so many opinions in that topic. From reading what other people take and different recommendations on how much to take, I probably wouldn't take more than 30 MG daily. If you're not taking it every day, you might take more than that.

Again, I'm not totally sure. I don't even take supplements. 8)

You're no more likely to sleepwalk in a lucid dream than a normal dream. So unless that's been a problem for you in the past, you've nothing to worry about.

As for the B6, I think 50-100mg a night is a normal dose, but I know that some people use up to 3x that much. Just be careful with it and read up on it before trying any megadoses -- it can cause some problems if too much builds up in you system. Here is a reference I found:

Too much vitamin B6 can result in nerve damage to the arms and legs. This neuropathy is usually related to high intake of vitamin B6 from supplements, [28] and is reversible when supplementation is stopped. According to the Institute of Medicine, \"Several reports show sensory neuropathy at doses lower than 500 mg per day\" [12]. As previously mentioned, the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine has established an upper tolerable intake level (UL) for vitamin B6 of 100 mg per day for all adults [12]. \"As intake increases above the UL, the risk of adverse effects increases [12].\" [/b]

You shouldn't Sleep walk...I have them everynight, & I am completely paralyzed when I have them..

alrighty, thanks for the info. i will try it out tonight, and also Sam yeah i run for my school and i run for fun, i am actually doing a XC camp this whole week, but thanks again for the information everyone i will give it a try tonight to see what happens
