      First posting, so hello everyone:)

Hi! I'm completely new on this forums. English is also not my mother language,so I'm sorry for any mistakes. I've heard about LD some time ago, but I've decided that I'll look into it about 4 days ago. For now I've started dream journal.. I think my dream recall was always average, not excellent but not bad, I usually remembered parts of dream/dreams from every night, so I hope that I have good starting point here. The funny thing is-the day I've started the dream journal, and telling myself that I should remember my dreams I started automatically waking up at 5am(going to sleep at 12, so after 5 hours of sleep) from a dream. Usually I'm waking up at 7am.. That happened first 2 days and I remembered quite many parts of my dreams(althought not from beginning to end, I usually remember the most significant parts..). So when I woke up at 5, I wrote what I could into my journal and then slept for another 2 hours. After 2 days I started to do RCs, and before sleeping really wished that I had LD.Well, I was so excited about that, I couldn't fall asleep and the worst thing, the next day I didn't remember a single thing from my dreams!(which usually never happens to me). The 5am awakening didn't came aswell. The next day I made the same mistake..well so yesterday I stopped RC's, before sleeping I just told myself not to forget about remembering my dreams, and voala, at 5am I woke up automatically from dream, remembering so many parts that I feared before I write them I'll forget them So I guess wanting tooo much was not good in the beginning, I told myself to focus for few days/weeks just on dream recall improvement, so I can remember whole dreams instead of parts. Ah, but what was the funniest part today, after 5am awakening, when I went to sleep for those 2 hours again..I had a dream- which I considered reality of course And in that dream I fell asleep and became "lucid"-I absolutely knew I was dreaming, I was exploring the world, focusing on the surrounding to get even more real vision(and it got, I remember I told myself it's really like reality. I remember also telling myself that like I'm now moving my eyes, I move them when I'm sleeping, and was quite excited. Well I remember it quite good. Then I "woke up" from the "lucid" dream(false awakening) and told someone I had lucid dream..but I didn't notice I had "dream" in a dream, that I'm still dreaming actually, lol. Have to work on that But I'm still happy my thinking about LD's transferred so fast somehow into my dreaming.

      Welcome, falcan!

Glad to hear that you've had some success already.

It sounds like you are definitely going down the right path, and it seems to be working. Just remember to be confident, and you will find that anything is possible.

As Seeker said, please let us know if you have any questions. See ya!

I give your english an "A".

Glad you became lucid. Practicing and focusing on the little things will help extend the LD to new heights.
