      Why hullo all. Yet another newbie..... I stumbled upon this site while searching for a psychological dream interpretation forum. I realize this isn't quite what I set out for, but I am interested in lucid dreaming as well, so I decided to stick around and see what I could learn.
      Because I couldn't find a sticky outlining the kind of information required of a first post, I'll keep this short, but if I left anything out, let me know and I'll answer to the best of my ability. : )

      with regards to a first post, i think you just tell us what you want to, to begin with, and then we'll all bombard you with questions.
      Welcome to the board!
      Do you have any lucid dreaming ability, or is it just something you want to look into, and try and learn?
      Do you keep a dream journal? I always tell everyone to do this, it helps you recall your dreams, and then you can spot your dreamsigns, that is, things in a dream that make you realise you are dreaming.

      I do have a limited lucid dreaming ability. I almost always am aware that I am dreaming, but usually my attempts to control it end in failure. I also have trouble remembering my dreams. I havn't kept a dream journal (I do write down the ones that actually make a bit of sense, but mostly I just get fragments). I also have mostly nightmares so usually when I'm lucid I'm just trying to wake myself up. :-/ I'd welcome any advice toward having better control. I've been just browsing the forum and it is proving quite interesting.
      Oh also I am a psychology major and have a bit of a knack for psychological dream interpretation (except when it comes to my own mind ). Anyway, that's about it in a nutshell...
