Did I make it?

My dream: I was staring at my hand and there was some skin peeling from my hand(kind of like a sunburn). I started to peel the skin away, but it really wasn't my skin. It was a skin-like bandage that was on my hand. I took it off and there as a deep wound on my hand. It wasn't bleeding; it looked like someone had jabbed a small pyramid into my palm. I looked into the wound and saw something white. I asked myslef, "Is that bone?". I moved my hand closer to my face and looked at it. I did not want to see bone, so the bone seemed to morph into skin and made the wound a little bit shallower. After not wanting to see bone, and seeing (willing?) it not to be bone, I felt quite satisfied. Then, I told myself "I must be dreaming". Then I ran my other hand over the wound, paused and said "But I'm not". Right after that, I woke up. I could have kicked myself. It has only been a little over a week, so I am not sure if I was in some low low state of lucid dreaming. I have never morphed anything in my dreams before. I just knew that I did not want to see bone, so I changed it. Oh well, it has only been about a week, and this is as close as I have come.

yeah you were in a low state of lucicity. I think theres a chart on the "main page" *gasp* most users dont know about the "main page" because most search engines take them right to the forum. Unless you were one of the smart people... again welcome you're like the 2nd person ive welcomed EVER in my life

Hi, welcome to the forum! Sounds like you were definitely low level lucidity, i've done something similar i guess, not morphed something, but i have made someone disappear! A dream character, she just 'faded' when i projected that thought onto her.

Welcome to the forum. 8) As said, that was a low (if not the lowest) state of lucidity. Your next task will be to not convince yourself that you weren't dreaming. Any time you come to question "am I dreaming?" you're going to want to stop, look around, and seriously prove that you're not dreaming. If you can get passed this point, and realize when you are and aren't dreaming, you'll be on a whole different level. Good luck.
