      Welcome incendrio - Craig

The fact that you have acknowledged the existence of lucid dreaming is already working in your favor. But the best way to get kick-started with lucid dreamig is obviously to pay attention to your dreams.
And don't do the misstake of having the goal of "WANTING TO HAVE A LUCID DREAM" it's not defined enough for your subconscious to understand. Instead have the goal of "Becoming more aware of your dreams." I do this by recalling my dreams then meassure my awareness and lucidity with Reece Jones "Five Layer of Lucidity" (Check out my DJ descirption for more info or his Youtube Video).
Then I can easier define my goal "Ok last night I had a dream which I lost my awareness immediatelly because I reacted on instinct" Layer 1 (Major), so I know that in the next dream I need to be prapared to resist the instincts. To become lucid is actually not that hard, but to increase the level of awareness is a little trickier so that's why I use the "Layers" as a tool to help me with that.

If you had a dream where you see something that should trigger lucidity Layer 0 (Minor) you know that it's just a matter of time before you have a dream where you have control like being so aware of the dream that you sort of control your self although you never realize it is a dream Layer 0 (Major). And you then know that you are close to have a lucid realization and on those first moments it is very easy to wake up immediately and you are then in Layer 1 (Minor). You see where I am going with this?

It's just a great tool that have helped me, and if you think it sounds interesting you should try it out = D

Everyone dreams multiple times a night! You have been dreaming, you just haven't remembered your dreams. You need to work on improving your dream recall. Here is a link to Dreamviews recall tutorial.

You should also read this beginners guide to lucid dreaming. if you have any more questions, just ask!

      Good luck!
