      Hello!

I am a newbie, I know this. I want to say, which I did in my topic title. I am 16, my names Austin, I live in Austin, TX, and I like playing Guitar and playing games.

I have just started practicing becoming lucid and I was wondering how long it took most of you people to become lucid. I have patience, just wondering.

Hello and Welcome! Gaining lucidity does vary from person to person and does depend on a few factors:

Motivation--being determined will help you succeed at becoming lucid since it means you won't give up easily.

Practice--writing down dreams, identifying dreamsigns, using RC's to help show lucidity, using other techniques.

Being observant and aware--Being able to critically anaylze your environment when awake is crucial to being able to 'know' you are dreaming when asleep. How do you know you aren't dreaming now?

Confidence--Believe you can and you will. It is your mind--how far will you let yourself succeed?

      Welcome & hello

Welcome to dreamviews Razorback! I started to lucid dream after reading a book about it – It took me three months, but I worked hard at it. Hope you do too - it’s worth it!
      Cheers,
