Hey there welcome to the forum!

Well firstly I would suggest that you spend some time looking around the forum. There is a ton of information here...so go through all the forums and read through things and let it all kinda sink in. It's alot of info to deal with at first.

For starters and most importantly, you should begin a dream journal to increase your dream recall. The better your dream recall the more likely it is that you will be able to become lucid.

Actually there is a whole section of this forum dedicated to dream recall.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

There are lots of ways to increase your dream recall, try searching through that forum. Basically the best thing to do is to start a dream journal and write down everything you can remember about your dreams. If you are still having trouble remembering your dreams the next morning...try to write them down if you wake up in the middle of the night (I know it sounds annoying but it's worth it)

Also, it's a good idea to set your alarm for 5 hours after you go to sleep so that you will wake up during prime REM period and you will be more likely to recall your dreams alot better since we typically forget them by morning.

I also find it helpful to sit absolutely still for a few seconds/minutes after I wake up from a dream and go back through it in my head and try to remember everything that happened. This helps to get the dream into your memory. Sometimes I've woken up from a dream and was so excited to write it down I immediately got up and reached for my dream journal and in doing so FORGOT the dream or at least some important parts of it.

You might also want to talk to spiritofthewolf about B6 since I know he's had some great success in using that to increase his recall and become lucid.

Good luck and if you have anymore questions feel free to PM me anytime.

yeah, welcome to the board...like nina said, there's nothing like a dream journal to make a good start on your road to lucidity.
      I haven't tried B6 as yet...
