      Hello! :)

      Hi everyone
I just joined this site today, it seems like a really great place to learn and discuss lucid dreaming.
I have not had a lucid dream yet, but I started researching LDing about a week ago. I will feel like an outcast until I have my first lucid dream.

It shouldn't take me too long though, I am currently reading Laberge's " Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" well, thats all for now, look forward to discussing with all you guys.

      Hello and welcome.

It may take a while before you have your first lucid dream ... or it may happen tonight. I had my first the night after I started reading about them, and didn't have another one for about a year (mind you, I wasn't putting any effort in, so what did I expect! ). In short, don't feel like an outcast ... most people's experiences will be unique.

I've got LaBerge's other book, which is just called 'Lucid Dreaming', and has a great CD that I've been experimenting with.

thnx dewines, it shouldn't take me a year to have a lucid dream if I really work at it should it, I'm trying really hard right now with my dream recall, and can at least remember dream fragments almost every night I've been doing them so far, but that is only 6 days I think, oh well, Its all in the effort I guess.

Oh No! I only had that big gap because I didn't work at it for the year. At all. If I'd continued I'm sure it would have developed much sooner. Once I started to work on it, it started to improve.

      Good luck, and happy dreaming.
