Hello!Glad to be here! So much of my curiosity has been brought into light/ or at least unfolding many things leading to many questions. Anyway, I got here through Google search. Let me tell you how I got into Lucid Dreaming.. It started when I have dreams repeatedly going to my closet, but as always, just before going into my closet, I always wake up. You see, my bed is positioned facing the closet. As far as I can remember it, the experience was like trying too hard to get moving and opening even just an eye. It felt like I just had one leg, using it to leap to the closet. I don't know why I had that dream repeatedly. I didn't bother, until I get aware more frequently of my sleep paralysis. As usual, like many accounts sleep paralysis is a frightening experience, especially if you don't know much about your bodily functions. There are sleep paralysis where in I just can't move . Then, I came to the idea that I should play the radio while asleep to make sure if I'm awake that I just can't move or I'm just asleep dreaming of getting up but can't, so it did happen. One time, I experienced again that paralysis, as usual there would be this struggle,but then I hear the sounds of the radio, it's playing a song and you know what the song played while I'm having that paralysis was the same from after I woke up from paralysis, so I conclude, I'm awake and conscious while having that paralysis. Upon searching what is the best thing to do or think of while on sleep paralysis, I came to the terms brainwave entrainment, out of the body experience, meditation, and Lucid dreaming. From the search, usual answer would be is just to stay calm and still, and would say it's a natural body function...but,it's hard to just think of it that way,especially when the feeling get intense, while I think of of it that way By the way, I'll also have dreams like being pulled out of the body while on bed, and I would say "I don't want,I don't want", Then being awaken. But, not all of my dreams are like that..I'll have some glorious dream where I saw Jesus Christ in my bedroom, facing and smiling to me,in front of my bed, while I'm seeing him from a lying position in my bed. I also had dreams where there would be sound a bell(from the church), then after the bell, there would voices, which I seem to hardly understand at times. Well, I did comprehend some. I remember many dreams which I can remember,at least bits of it. Oh may I share, one time I used brainwave entrainment during nap/sleep, as I was finishing a school requirement. I think that was the first time, I experienced out of the body experience, as I felt leaving my body. Well, I know I'm conscious for I can hear the sound of the entrainment, while having that. I was also afraid at that time for I felt I was genuinely out of my body, for I can't get up and struggling again. Well, the visuals I saw from that instance was like where I'm in dark space where I see clusters of events happening. Then, I thought myself why don't I just visualize my room, maybe I can return. Then,all of a sudden, I felt being pulled back and slowly going into my house, then eventually to my bedroom. MY FIRST LUCID DREAM, where I can control my dream character, I was THE HULK. I tried numerous of skills like in an RPG game. I can truly say that it was one of those experience like no other, aside from seeing Jesus. Well, I got here out of curiosity of stuffs and through word search in google.

Cool and welcome to DV I also had a dream where my guardian angel appeared to me and played w/ me xvx it was fun. Cause I heard angels can visit you in dreams.

Hey there, welcome to DreamViews! Those recurring dreams must be pretty annoying, huh? Well, congrats on your first lucid dream! As for the part where you heard the radio music: it's also possible that you were actually dreaming. When we sleep and dream, external noises and our external environment in real life can affect our dreams. This is why many people often dream like there is wind in their face, only to realize the fan was facing them while they were sleeping. Similarly, you could have heard the radio music while you were sleeping, and it got incorporated into the dream, and when you woke up the song was the same.
