      Hello

      Hey y'all!
This is my first post on here. I came on this site because I wanted to post a dream I had a couple days ago. It is not a lucid dream however so I know I'll be posting it over in general dream threads. But I wanted to say hi to everyone first off and after browsing I'm now really interested in Lucid dreams and once I learn more about general dreams I'm going to dive back into here and attempt to explore it someday myself.

Also, I know forums can have their own unwritten, specific way of doing things and wanted to see if there is any basic tips for posting for an interpretation other than the tutorial suggestions. I have typed everything I could up that covers the dream and all of the aspects the tutorial said to; my info, about friend in the dream, and lots of details, etc.. But so far it's like two page essay long so I don't want to over do it if I'm not supposed to give that much, I looked at a few others and from what I saw they are more vague and much shorter than what I have down so far.
Any thoughts, tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.
      Take care everyone!

      Hello and welcome to DV!

I would recommend creating an entry in your Dream Journal, which is accessible by clicking the "Dream Journals" link at the top of the page. From there, you can create a new entry or view/edit your existing journal (once you have created some entries).

If you are looking for some assistance in interpreting your dream, feel free to create a new thread in the Dream Interpretation Forum. Please read this post: Want your dream interpreted? Read this first! which provides details about the best way to post a dream for interpretation.

If you need any assistance or have any questions, feel free to contact any dream guide or moderator or post a thread in the Meta Forum.
