Thread: First lucid!

I had meh first lucid, but it sucked since it only lasted about 5 seconds, and about half of it was my eyes half open, so I saw half of the dream, and the other half of my blanket
Oh,and I tried dream spinning(but I dont remember trying, it felt like my body automatically started dream spinning, since I didnt even remember it), but it didnt work, so I woke up.
Then a normal dream started, and I remember most of both of them.

Don't worry, Sonic, most people find that their first LD doesn't last very long -- just the excitement of realizing that you've done it can make you wake up very easily.

But now that you know what it feels like, you hopefully will be able to repeat your success, and the next time you're more likely to make it last longer. Congrats!

I wasnt really excited though, I was explaining somthing to someone, then I suddenly went "BEcause this is a lucid dream!" Then I became lucid, when I think about it now just about everything but my thoughts felt automatic, but thats probaly because it went by so fast.

My first LD lasted just about long enough to go 'Whoa, hey! Dream! Time to try lucidity!', and then I went back to normal dreams. :/
