I just joined dreamviews I have been trying to LD for years and know all the trchniqes. I have had several close to successes but no succeses I look forward to getting input from you guys and (hopefully) succsesfully LD. If any of you are online right now I would prefer replies so I can meet some people.

Welcome to DV! I used to be successful at LDing many years ago, and this time after returning back to the hobby I succeeded once, but have had a few close to successes. I have decided to enjoy these close to successes rather than being frustrated by them, because they can be fun, and also I wouldn't want to send my mind the wrong message: yes, I do want more close to successes (in the hope that someday one of them will actually get me lucid again). For now though I dream of kittens, and there is nothing even remotely lucid about those kittens.

Hahaha. My closest to success was when I realized I was dreaming seconds before I woke up it wasn't cause I was too excited. I kept my calm but it was moments before I would normally woke up I tried rubbing my hands together and spinning again iT was already slipping away. My goal is to get that close again.
