Hi! Welcome to DreamViews! |

i've just started working toward lucid dreaming, and i'm trying to improve my dream recall. i'm using my the hourly chime on my watch as a reality check as suggested in the intro to this site. it works pretty well, but so far (for the last 3 nights) i've only been able to remember one dream per night - the one right before waking up in the morning. any tips on how to remember the dreams in the middle of the night? |

As Seeker was saying, one really good way to recall more dreams is to wake up after a REM cycle in the middle of the night and either writing it down (the best technique) or at least laying in bed, recalling as much of your last dream as possible. Try to cement it in your mind before you go back to bed if possible. At least give yourself keys (words, actions, colors, places, etc.) that could help you recall your dreams. As you put more effort into it they will come easier. |
