Huwhoa-ho-ho, a thread about me, narcissistic or what?

Well.. I guess not, everyone else does, too =D

Hey I'm new here and um.. I've been reading up on some of the techniques for lucid here and now I'm starting to try them. I'm in the wake part of WBTB right now, actually. I've been able to remember my dreams lately so I figure now is a good place to start trying to do the lucid thing again. (I had tried before a couple years ago and I managed to get one lucid dream, but then I fell out of practice)

I think I identified people talking BS about electronics as a dream sign. Like i just woke up when some kid was talking to me about a "RAID power supply" and I don't even know if that's a real thing. Actually I just googled it and it is a real thing and that's pretty weird since I had no idea. But anyway what he was saying about it didn't make sense. I suppose that is a bad dreamsign, though, because its hard in a dream to tell whether someone is just making things up since your mind is just making things up anyway.

So I am able to remember dreams most of the time now, and I'm doing the dream journal thing consistently, what should be the next thing to focus on?

bwoah, ok back to bed soon...

I think you should try reality checking. Do reality checks throughout the day to see whether you're dreaming or not. When you've made it into a habit, it should carry out into your dreams too. Whenever you perform a reality check, you really should question whether you're dreaming or not.

      Some good reality checks:
      - Pinch your nose and try to breath through it. In dreams you can still breath.
      - Look at your hands. They usually will look unstable, blurry or unnormal in other ways.
      - Take a couple of looks at a clock. Usually it shows different times at different glances or won't show a reasonable time at all.
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.
