      hello from Wisconsin

Hi, my name is Corey and I decided to dig deeper into Lucid dreaming. I figured what better way than to join another forum. I have been lucid dreaming since I was a child but as a child they were more of a nightmare. I am 39 now and over the last year I have been able to realize I am dreaming and controlling my actions.

I would like to know which section to post some questions I have about a problem I am having in a reoccurring lucid dream or if it is a paralysis dream? I would like to describe my reoccuring dream Is it fine to post the questions right here or is there a better place that will get more view and answers? Thanks and I hope I can master this and look forward to hear your responses.

Hello, welcome to DV, Corey! Even though my family lives in Virginia, but my husband comes from Wisconsin, so the males in my family are Green Bay Packers fans, and I would also be if I had any interest in football.

Anyway, you can post your questions here. Or if they are about a lucid General Lucid Discussion may be a good place, or if they are more about a recurring nightmare then perhaps here Nightmares and Recurring Dreams.

Now "sleep paralysis" is generally considered a bad word on this forum because people misuse the term and use it too liberally to describe phenomena that really have little to do with sleep paralysis, however, if after reading http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...mystified.html and http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...explained.html, you still believe that paralysis is the best word to describe your experience, then that's ok - there really is something that is properly called "sleep paralysis", but a lot of people call other things that and then a lot of people are unnecessarily scared of lucid dreaming because of myths they heard about that. not that I am suggesting this applies to you, just saying to use the p word carefully.

Anyway, feel free to ask if you have any other questions. I look forward to interacting with you more on the forum!
