My name is Emin, Im 23 years old. I live in the USA, but im originaly from the former soviet union (Lived there for the first 11 years of my life, in 4 different regions (Azerbaidjan, Armenia, Russia, Gergia (Yeah, we moved around alot)). I never really got the chance to discuss my dreams with any one that i could relate to, and today i decided to see if there are any communities online that talk about dreams, It seems i was very fortunate to come across this website, the people here seem really cool, after browsing the forums for a few hours i decided to make a "log in name" for myself. As far as lucid dreaming / OBEs go. I had quite a few when i was very young around the age of 5, and they stopped happening around the age of 7. Three years ago, i came across the words Lucid dreams and after reading the definition I remembered my childhood endavours. I started reading alot of books and at one point in time was having 11+ lucid dreams (and/or OBEs) a week (Once u get the hang of WILDs its "Easy Mode" after that). Things slowed down a bit in my spiritual life when i got addicted to a video game (World of Warcraft) but hey shit happens... i quit my addiction and now i want to get back and even farther than i was before. I love Carlos Castaneda Books, theyre like a bible to me (Even though "The Path" by William J. Cozzolino is awesome as well). I also love sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer, brazillian jui-jitsu and ping-pong (hehehe). I listen to a wide variety of music, though i noticed im more inclided to listen to the tunes than the words, so if the beat is good, chances are i will like the song. well i think thats enough about myself. I find WILDing very hard to do indeed...i'd love to reach 'easy mode' and have one lucid a night, that would be cool I've never read any of those Carlos Casteneda books, although i have heard of him...there are mixed views about him, it would seem...both good and bad. I find WILDs alot easier if you clear and calm your mind BEFORE you lie down. That way i find it much easier to physically relax but mentaly remain alert. Also, "intent" is one of the biggest factors for me (as it is in just about every thing I do).
