Thread: sleep talking / walking while lucid dreaming?

hi, i googled for 'lucid dream talk' and i read a passage saying that its possible to command yourself to talk out loud while in a lucid dream. is this possible? also is it possible to get yourself to get up and walk around while in a controlled dream state? and if not, does lucid dreaming make it more likely for these sleep anomalies to occur? thanks!

I would say it's not possible because your body is fully paralysed during REM-periods (the phase where you dream). Sleep talking and walking occures during deep sleep where you won't have any dreams. However, you can control your breathing and eye movement in LDs because they're the same in your dream and sleeping body.
