      Sawlogs Dream Comics

Hi - I thought I'd introduce myself and a project I have been working on for the last few years (off and on, as you'll see) called 'Sawlogs' (http://www.sawlogs.net). Sawlogs are comic strips (like you see in Sunday newspapers) based on a dream journal I have been keeping for fourteen years.

Right now, I have posted all of the strips I've completed so far (15) and hope to get back on to a regular schedule. I had a few of these strips published in the Rocky Mountain Dream Journal a year or so back, and now that I'm dreaming again, I felt inspired to write and see what some of you thought.

Thanks for taking a look -

Wow, that's awesome! I used to have an online comic, but it had nothing to do with dreams...twas called When Trojan Pigs Fly. I quit on it a while back (www.trojanpigs.cjb.net)

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I'll go look at all your comics ^_^

Thanks for reading - I'll take a look at your comic (have you considered publishing at webcomicsnation.com?).

One thing I've been thinking about is how to portray a lucid dream in comics. All of the dreams I've posted so far have not been lucid. I would want to come up with a way to capture the *clarity* of lucidity that distinguishes that particular strip from a regular dream...

      That's pretty good.

I draw comics of some of my dreams, but I haven't posted any of them yet, I planned to post them alongside my dream journal here.
These are the tears that I dream about...

I'd love to see other dream comics.

The only ones I know about are David Heatley's 'Deadpan' and Jesse Reklaw's 'Slow Wave.'
