Wow! I really love this website. A lot of helpful information, and it helped me discover that I am pretty gifted. (Not that I'm good yet)

I never realized that having very vivid dreams or dreams that you knew you were dreaming in were rare. I hadn't even heard of Lucid Dreams before. I have a lucid dream probably about every month at the least. And I usely remember at least one picture of my dream every night. Just last night I had a lucid dream. It just clicked! SNAP! I didn't need a reality check it just did it. My first thought was this: "Wow I'm dreaming! Hmm.... I wonder what I can do? I should try flying". And believe it or not I flew (not very well mind you). But as I just finished reading my attention faded after my mom gave me the order to get in the car. I played around with telekinesis in my dream for a while in the car though fooling my sis. During this time I still knew I was dreaming, but I didn't care too much; I don't know why. Well hope to get any imformation I can. Thanx.

seems like you have some talent.. yeah DV is pretty awesome, you can really find all the information you can possibilly imagine, Dream guides and people that can help you out with all you need, the coolest thing about DV's in my opinion is that ALOT of people share their opinion about stuff making it alot more easyer..

maybe your like me, ive never in my whole life have used a RC to realize im dreaming, its always like an explosion of lucidity and i realize im dreaming...

Heh, you two re lucky. Most of the time when I'm dremin I don't have a sense of self. I'm just wtching whats goin on.

Your lucky. The first couple of times I realized I was dreaming and that I was in complete control, it was during an intense nightmare. Throughout the whole dream I was running away from a huge man with a knife. I ran into my hotel room and found myself trapped. As he approached me I thought to myself "No, this is not happeing, I must be dreaming." That is when I convinced myself to run to the edge of my bed an pick up the pillow, because as sure as I was dreaming I "knew" there would be a gun. Of course I wake up the moment I shot the intruder.

But be assured, every chance I get to realize I am dreaming and NOT having a nightmare, which is rear, I take flight.

I had a LD last night that I did get from reality checking. I was working on something with two of my friends at a table with a candle in the middle. Something triggered me to do an RC and I found out I was dreaming. My friend was like, "This isn't a dream". Like she does in real life. I'm glad and I hope it will improve on how often I have an LD.
