Hello, |

i heard spinning can often wake you. i would take a guess and say, start off small. summon stuff and use mental powers. grow to bigger stuff later. my best guess. |

Sounds like you need to get comfortable with lucidity. At first you could try just observing the dream world carefully and concentrating on the details. Also at the moment you become lucid, try rubbing your hands together or shouting out loud: "Increase lucidity!" And have your thoughts on something else than waking up - brain doesn't understand "no". |

Don't think about those damn kangaroos.
I think if your lucidity is not very stable, doing something that requires much conscious intent, will often make you too conscious, and thus wake you. I find that with spining too. For me, imersing myself in the dream and letting it weave itself works best. If the dream is fading, I find looking at things, not holding my focus, just moving my gaze about or walking reimerses me in the dream. There's a variety of techniques, see which works best, or find your own. |

I get the best results with spinning when i spin slowly. Just take a nice 360-degree look around. It helps increase lucidity for me because spinning slowly causes things to change while they're outside my field of vision, and the act of looking around quickly strengthens the dream. Maybe you're just spinning so fast you lose focus? |
