      Hello fellow LD-ers!

Hey everyone, I'm new here as you can see and hope to share and talk about some good things about lucid dreaming with you all!

my journey to lucid dream was kind of disastrous at first, it all started with me having frequent paralysis during sleep like 5-6 years ago. It would happen 4-5 times a week. It was so frequent because my physic was not in a good fit, i never slept well and enough, i would only get approx 3-4 hours sleep a day (lot of tasks to do and bad time management i would say). at first, every time i got myself paralyzed, i would panic and even slightly cry. i didn't know what to do.

until, at one point, when i got paralyzed again, i was just dreadfully tired of it (and well, even used to it), and decided to "f** it, i would just sleep". and yeah, it worked. and since then, every time i went sleep after getting paralyzed, i would go lucid. apparently, i coped well with my SP problem by doing that, and the outcome is me having lucid dream.

it's funny because at that time, i had not acquired myself with the concept of "lucid dreaming". i just thought of it as having awareness in dream, in which i can also control. At one time, like 3-4 years ago, i decided to google something like "awareness in dream", and yeah i finally knew that what I had just been experiencing is called lucid dream.

now, i don't get sleep paralysis anymore, but i still lucid dream. i guess I've developed a habit of doing it (well, i personally think it's fun and amazing ). Whenever i want to lucid dream, i just try to relax and focus at the same time. The time my mind starts to form dream imagery, i would have realized that it's dream, and it would continue. I learned it through my experience with SP.

But, Lucid dream has never been easy for me though, and the longest lucid dream i had probably lasted for 30-45 minutes. Generally, my lucid dreams only last for 10-15 minutes.

I've been lurking on this site (and several many others) to get information about lucid dream, and to read about others' experiences as well. it's interesting and I finally decided to join the community.

so yeah, that was about me and lucid dream. hope to post some other things here and be involved in here.

      Thank you
