      Hello everyone!

The concept of lucid dreaming has fascinated me for a very long time now. It's something I've always wanted to do, but any time I actively pursue it, I simply cant! And I kind of forget about it for a little while, and I'd really like to change that.

While I lay in bed at night, I find myself thinking about 400 things per second. Anything from what I have to do tomorrow to string theory hahah. So it takes me quite some time to clear my mind to finally fall asleep, and once Im asleep, Im literally out cold. I rarely ever wake up during the night, and Id say I only recall 1 dream every 60 days. I sleep typically about 6ish hours a night, rarely 7-8. So, thats the hard part for me, is how the heck do I actively control my dreams when Im such a heavy sleeper, there is no dream to actively pursue since I pass out so hard. Eventhough yes of course I know were always dreaming, I just never "notice" my dreams while they happen.

I did have 2 sleep paralysis situations I encountered not too long ago, which I honestly thought were very cool and interesting. They weren't scary and there were no succubi or anything of that type. That night, I had woken up at about 5am, then 6, then 730, and then 9, then 10 and I tried to doze back off for a bit, and I did but as soon as I did fall back asleep I had an instant scenario/dream state where my room was pitch black (as it always is), there seemed to be a very intense vibration/hum to the scenario and I was able to see my room from an elevated position floating and staring down at myself in bed, but I had noticed something was very different, and it was that my bed was facing a different direction. And while in this state I literally thought to myself upon noticing my beds orientation "Hey thats not righ..." and at that moment it was like I was blasted awake, but I was 100% unable to move. My eyes were open, I felt a very heavy feeling on me like an elephant was on top of me, and it felt like I was being vacuumed out of my body. After about 3 seconds I snapped to and was able to pop up and regain control of myself.

Second experience I woke up around 6am about 3 or 4 weeks after the first situation, and I felt a very heavy head vibration that I recalled from the first experience as familiar and I was kind of groggy/half awake. This time I was actually awake though, I am 100% certain I was not sleeping. So I literally picked a spot in my room that was very dimly lit and just hyperfocused on it, and the hum increased in volume and again I got the sensation like I was being sucked out of my body, and it was so intense it just kinda startled myself to pop up in my bed.

Tangent aside on my SP experience, Im very interested in all of this and would certainly like to be pointed in the right direction as to where to learn to lucid dream given my heavy sleeping/lack of dream recall/out like a light situation and also eventually work my way into astral projection.

Welcome, Svenska!Oh man you sound like a very deep sleeper, have you ever tried keeping a dream journal?Just even a few words every other night can increase your recall tremendously. My guess would be you might have to have a very strong intent to remember,if you're only remembering one every two months. My advice is to start with that,if you already haven't.I also have had sleep paralysis experiences,I hear the best way to get out of it is to breathe very sharp in and out.Haven't tried it yet but I sure want to.I'm very interested to see how you are going to implement some of these techniques, being a heavy sleeper and all.Keep me posted!
