I have been interested in lucid dreaming for years and unsure if I have them or not, some of my dreams are very real and I can be outside of myself if you can understand what I mean, there are several forums on here which one is the best for me to help me understand?

Welcome to DV, distant dreamer Well, the only qualification for a dream to be lucid is that you know that you are dreaming. The amount of control or what you do doesn't matter as long as you've told yourself, "I must be dreaming."

As for the forums we have here, each one is designed for varying topics, depending on what you want to ask or share. If you just have general questions then feel free to post them in the "General Discussion" forum. There's also a search function here if you want to see if someone else has already asked the question. Each forum also has a short description below it so just take a look. If you're really confused just let me or one of the other staff (Dream Guides, Moderators, Administrators) know and we'll be more than happy to help you out!
