I am new to this group, but not new to the pursuit of lucid dreams.

I have had an interest in lucid dreaming since I was a teenager. I have had numerous lucid dreams - most of them random and few

of them related to a dedicated application of my self toward having a lucid dream. I have often kept a dream journal simply to

record my dreams and to look at patterns and to record unusual dreams. About a month and a half ago I once again decided to

put some time in working on having a lucid dream. I have fairly diligently kept a dream journal for the time involved - I use

a voice recorder which I keep next to my bed. I transcribe the dreams onto my computer later in the day.

Last night I had my first lucid dream for the last half of forever and one of the few that I have had as a result of

dedicated effort toward having lucid dreams.

By way of introduction I am male 64 years old. I also meditate on a regular basis and have at times worked on lucid dreaming

as a way to augment my meditation by way of dream yoga.

I am an avid reader , somewhat of a nerd , interested in most things that have to do with science and science fiction.

I am always open to sharing experiences.

I am happy to find this site and wish everyone happiness and success in this particular endeavor.
