Hello, new guy here

Well I'm not so new to lucid dreaming, just to this site, I was directed here by a member from another forum. I've been able to do it for the past year or so, without even knowing that it was called lucid dreaming. Basically I've noticed that I only really do it when I'm out of weed and haven't smoked for a few days. It was last summer while I was on vacation when I had my first lucid dream(I may have had a few before but don't remember the exact time), and I wasn't even planning on doing it. I just so happened to be clean for a few days at the time so that's my reasoning for me having to be sober when I do it. Last night I had a lucid dream after being clean since monday, so there's some more confirmation on that theory. For me to able to do this, I have to catch myself falling asleep. When I know that I'm about to fall asleep, I just go into this deep concentration and eventually I will be walking somewhere, or doing something. Only once had I actually been in my own bed when I awakened into a lucid dream, I'm usually in some random place that I've never been(once I was actually in a videogame...kinda weird). Well I came here to learn more about lucid dreaming and I hope to find out a lot of useful information. Seems like an awesome community so I'm sure I'll have a good time here. -fire

Welcome to Dreamviews fireman weed ( as you knwo first hand) imparis your memory, even for dreams. YOu seemed to perform a WILD. That is when you step into the dream world as you are fallign asleep.
