What is lucid dreaming (pls help im really lost here)

I am not sure if i hav lucid dreams and stumbled upon this website purely by chance..how do u define lucid dreams...i always thought my dreams wer pretty unique...and when i dream i am always aware im dreamin...is that very common or is it a rare thing? Sorry for my newbieness but i am really lost

pretty rare i think, im pretty new too, but i mean do you have the kind of control to look at your arm or count your fingers or something, cause i have control in my dreams(if i realize i am dreaming) but not that much control..

ih there, were glad you stmbled onto our site . Natural Lucid dreamers are somewhat rare. We have quite a few of them here on Dreamviews, all of varing degrees. For me, Ill have at least one Lucid dream a week without trying, so that makes me a natural in some level. But if you kwno you are dreaming each and every night, then it is very rare
