Meeting other lucid dreamers in the astral plane- Possible?

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and would like to know if it's possible to meet other people who are having a lucid dream at the same time? I'm asking this because a while ago I used to have a repetitive type of dream several times a week, which went on for about a year... in the dream I would feel a presence of a guy and I could never see his face, but I could feel his body.... one time I attempted to feel his face to get some idea as to what he looked like... i actually felt stubble! lol .... I don't know if it was all an illusionary aspect of lucid dreaming or is it possible that this guy actually exists somewhere in the world and we just kept on meeting each other in our lucid dreams? I guess this sounds all very enchanting and fairy tale like, but hey - a girl can dream, right? The reason why I can't get this lucid dream out of my mind is because each time I had it for about a year, I always sensed the same male presence and it felt very comforting and familiar in some strange way. In one of those lucid dreams, I actually saw the guy's back... he had a tattoo which I remember till this day - it was a black crow with its wings spread and a red/orange sun with flames next to the crow. I don't know if it's symbolic or just a lucid dream induced out of my own fantasies. Could someone please explain this to me?

Yeah, it's very possible to meet real people in dreams. Many people have shared dreams before. I'm not exactly sure if it's just combined thoughts or something more spiritual but it happens.

I doubt you'll ever forget it, but make sure you write down that dream you had anyway. Ya never know when you might see that tattoo somewhere.

I do not believe that shared dreaming is possible. Lucid Dreaming is limited to one's self. The presence is in your mind and if you concentrate on it, it will go away. But there are other who believe in shared dreaming, and we have a section for that at DreamViews too

If a man named Fleming Crawson (flaming crow sun) ever flirts and would like to call, you should let him.

Hey... I have that tattoo... Just joking

Joking apart, it's one of the most debated issues among dreamers. As far as I know (but I've a limited reading on the topic), no conclusive results have been reached, thus we can say that it's not possible to shared dream. Take a look to some posts in the reserch forum.

If we were truly to unlock our spiritual potential, shared dreaming would be child's play.

I forget who said it, but I love this quote; "It's always fun to do the impossible."

I never heard of that quote - but it does sound fun. I wonder though, if we, the human race, are ever supposed to/ capable of unlocking our fullest spiritual potential. Maybe our physical life is only meant to provoke more questions, than answers - more efforts directed to perfecting ourselves and the world around us. I read in one part of the Kabbalah that the concept of a perfect world will never become reality because "God" intended for people to progressively and continuously strive and perfect the world and themselves - and thus there can never be a plateau of a perfect utopian world - only a world in constant improvement. This particular perspective made me question the concept of "the pendulum shift" which, in short suggests that in a certain amount of years people will somehow come to a realization of their "not so perfect ways," and this new awareness will make them change themselves and the world as a whole - resulting in a positive energy shift of human consciousness which will eventually take place. What are your views on this?

Oh, I will. Moreover, I'd have him on speed dial

I think that is a good possibility. But like so many things, I can't think of any way we could ever prove or disprove it.

the stuff dreams are made of

There is an aboriginal tribe that believes the world was dreamed into existance. and there are some of us who have the belief that what we dream is what is actually happening to us. A dream takes as long as it does in "real time" but what exactly is "real time"?
I've seen things on an acid trip that i have seen in dreams. Perhaps a dream is a higher state of consciousness that can only be achieved through dreaming and drugs. Maybe thats why so many mind altering substances are illegal. These "agents" (government) trying to keep us down with laws and rules that govern society to keep us their little lambs. Maybe we are just a bunch of batteries for some higher species. maybe the garden of eden was a dream state that held a special fruit of knowledge that led to a higher state that God didn't want to be let out into the world. Adam's first wife, Lilith, was turned into an incubus/seccubus like creature that haunted dreams.
I have met countless people that had a death of someone close to them and shortly after they had dreams of this person coming to them to tell them, everything is allright. Perhaps it is because a dream state is in actuality another plane. a plane where we are all connected.
remote viewing is a part of this higher state that connects us all. It states that remote viewing would not be possible otherwise. Maybe in the future cognitive sciences will prove this and better us all with little insights that would indeed make us all equals. But until then we are surrounded by skeptics and cynics that claim a dream is just a dream. Randomly firing synapses our brain weeding out all the useless info we take in throughout the day. Like a computer deleting cookies.
I'm sorry i'm rambling and probably not making any sense, to much caffiene today, better cut back, must sleep. Sleep to dream. Dream to sleep.

P.S. yeah i think its possible
