      Introduce yourself here!

I couldn't find a post that had this topic, so I thought it'd be a good idea. This is a thread in which new people to this site can post a bit about themselves.

      I'll go first.

I'm 17 and just joined this site today. I haven't had a dream that I could control in a few years now. However, when I was about 13, I was able to totally control my dreams. Jump 800 feet in the air, telekinesis, fly, anything. I also remembered everything. Then, without any warning, I "didn't have any dreams" for about a month. When I had my first dream after that, the power had been lost, and I haven't had it since. Quite distressing.

I am here now because I didn't realise that anyone else had that power. I want it back, 'cos it really is the coolest thing ever. All-powerful in a world without any consequences, what more could you ask for?

I hope to talk to you all later, and please add your own story here!
      Until Later...
      ^.^

Hey, welcome to DV! As regards lucid dreaming, if you've done it before, i have no doubt that you'll be able to do it again.
And with regard to 'newbie' posts. The whole newbie forum is designed for new users, each person makes their own individual posts of introduction. To have all the introductions contained in one thread makes it kinda awkward to spot a new user.

Hey. I just joined today. Although I am not a newbie, I am slightly familur with Drean Views and Lucid Dreaming, I have been in my opinion unsuccessful in my dreaming, so I am "starting from scratch.

      New Here, Too

I'm also new. I started lucid dreaming when I was about 6. I think it started from two near-death experiences--one at about 2 and the other, 4. Anyway, I thought everyone did it so for years, I didn't think it was unusual or special. It wasn't until I was in my mid-teens and it stopped that I tried to talk about it--no one knew what the hell I was talking about!

It started up again in my mid-20's and got real strong. Then, life got too real and it was like I just forgot how. It started up again on its own during a traumatic time in my life and now, once again, has slowed down to a mere trickle.

What I'm hoping to do if possible, is re-find the sense of magic and fluidity I have had before, when it was effortless. And, because I did this once before to heal myself. And that's why I'm here!
