I've never had any particularly overpowering colours in my dreams. |
i have a decent dream recall but i was looking at a website and it said what colors do you normally see when your dreaming. i had a dream last night, after waking i tried to think but i dont remeber any specific colors that stood out (if they're suposed to) all the colors were just the normal everyday colors i see while awake. Im guessing in my dreams where my house or someplace is tweaked and doesnt look the same, see what color is overpowering all the otheres, is that right? |

I think dreaming in black and white would be pretty rare. Afterall, you do dream see in color and if you were born sometime after the 60's, chances are, you are used to color TV as well. |

Well, I can recall having had at least one or two b/w white dreams, but the majority are in color. However, often times there will be what I call an "overcast" where there will be a predominant color scheme, often a dark reddish/brown or a grey/blue. Often I will dream in normal colors, though nothing really seems to stick out. I think it's just because it's not as important to me as other aspects of the dream. |

Hi there, |
color receptpers have nothing at all to do with it. there are no immages comming in when we are dreaming. Everything is already in our heads... You are nto just your body in yoru dreams, you are absolutley everything. |

Well I guess that makes sense seeing since most of us have our eyes closed when we sleep ... |

i've always wondered how blind people dream....anyone got an answer? |
question EVERYTHING
Now that is the topic of the day to ponder. |
How do blind people dream.... hm... I can only guess, but the only thing that would make sense, is that they perceive their dream world exactly the way they perceive their waking world. So in case they've been blind their whole life, they won't see any images, but touching, smelling, hearing etc. will be just as or even more vivid than during the day. |
Sometimes when I dream I get a washed out sort of effect. Like all colors seem to blend. A guess you would call it a Matrix style of lighting (You can see different colors, but they are all green), if you know what I mean. |
We have had the topic discussed a couple of times about blind people and dreaming. IF a person was blind from birth they cannot visual imagine anything. I found this hard to believe. I fought it tooth and nail, but I was proven wrong. |

I found that people who sometimes dream black 'n white are people who suffer from psychosis... You should talk to a doctor if you are having them! |

I don't remember ever having any black-and-white dreams, or any dreams that have an overall color cast, though I can't say I haven't. Of course, I don't remember the colors of everything in my dreams, but I typically do remember the colors of objects that played important roles in the dream. But then again, color is already so important to me in the waking world. For some reason, I love colors, and I frequently pay attention to the colors of objects when there's no real reason to. So I'm not surprised that I usually remember the colors of important objects in dreams, too. |
I normally dream in colour, but I remember once having a (non-Lucid) dream, part of which was inside a shop, and everything was black and white, including the shop keeper. I think colour came back to me later on in the dream... |
