      What is WILD?

I keep seeing the term WILD and I can't work out what it means. I tried the search function but 51 pages of stuff came up.

I'm new to lucid dreaming. I've never believed it was possible until I started reading a about it last week.

My only experience of conscious awareness during sleep was one day when I slept in the afternoon, the day after returning from a sleepless last week at uni. I was completely nackered, fell asleep and then suddenly became aware I was sleeping in my bedroom, but was completely paralysed. I could hear someone knocking on my window, calling my name, but I couldn't move. Then I suddenly woke up. Excellent.

Any way, I'm making a dream journal in hope it helps me to realise I'm dreaming next time. So far no success.
