      Allow me to introduce myself...

Normally, I would think it a little conceited to have an entire thread devoted solely to tell the world about me, but since it was suggested in the welcome PM, I'll give it a shot.

      Hello

To start off my own little thread about me, I will inform you that I am from Virginia, 16 years old, 6'2", have green/brown eyes (depends on what color I am wearing), am straight, in need of a haircut, insanely introverted, and really excited about lucid dreaming. Currently my hobbies are paintball, which is fairly life consuming, and computers, which I love to buld and tinker with. I am also a fan of computer gaming, anime, manga, books, and tinkering with everything I can get my hands on. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, just ask, I would love to talk.

If you have any questions, or just want to talk, I would be thrilled to get to know some of the people here better. Just throw me a PM or get me on AIM.

Welcome to dreamviews! If you dont know the basic info on lucid dreaming, i suggest if u have troble with dream recall feel free to start a dream journal u can make one on here even I do very convenante. An easy way to get a start on lucid dreaming is doing reality checks theres lots of em actually one is trying to stick ur finger though ur hand or ur tongue though ur mouth, or in dreams if u look at words twice they sometimes change. Nice intro btw I actually read all of it

      Hey Hotshot.

      Nice little intro.

I'm recently a new member. Thought I'd pop in and say hi and welcome.

Wishing you luck with whatever dream goals you have.

      Hope to see you round.

I really appreciate the warm welcome, I never expected anything like this from a forum.

      Hi again.

It is a nice change to be welcomed to a forum, isn't it?

What I like best about this community is it's friendliness, the way it opens it's arms to new members.

Becoming a new member to any forum is a little tense because most forums automatically play bash the newbie. I know this from experience. I haven't seen anything like that here.

      Again...welcome.
      Cya round.

      I know.

Most places its "Great, another noob to spam up the boards" if they pay any attention at all. The fact that someone here actually writes a PERSONAL greeting for every new member just blows my mind.

It is rather amazing that people do take the time to welcome others. After all the crap I put up with at other forums...this place seems like heaven so far.

Hey Hotshot and Vex Kitten, The openness and friendliness of Dream Views is its best virtue. I remember when I first joined ( oh so long ago...) and I was amazed just as you are now. It really makes you happy comming her and promotes the feeling that I am able to share my ideas and listen and comment on others. I think this has to do with the nature of the topic this forum. Lucid Dreaming takes pactince, knowledge, a love of learning, and a degree of openness. After you have been here for a while, Dream Views isnt just a forum any more, as it is a community; a family.
