      It'a a newbie! Run for the hills!

      Well, I've finally decided to stop lurking and start posting. Hello to everyone on the board! I've only remembered having a few lucid dreams in my life- only one of which in the past two months, almost immediately after I stumbled across this site- though I've never had the ability to control said dreams very well.

      Anyhow, a friend of mine recently expressed interest in lucid dreaming as well- to my surprise and pleasure- and so I thought it might not be a bad idea to get more into lucid dreaming. I've gone through quite a few of the threads on this forum already and noted some of the basic need-to-know things, and hope to eventually start controlling the lucid dreams I'll have in the future.

      As to that, I'm always happy to listen to (read?) any advice anyone here feels like giving me.

      Hey welcome to the forum.

      I consider this is about finding out about lucid dreaming and dreams, and to share experiences, So I am trying to be active in researching it.

      At the same time a fair amount of other things are discussed in the offtopic section as you probally know, Which I would seperate into 2 sections.

      1) useful discussion
      2) Senseless junk

      Nirvana Starseed, I have to say:: isn't that the way of off-topic boards all the 'net over? But yes, I figured I would be more actively into lucid dreaming if I joined up.

      Barbizzle, thank you for the well wishes. I'm trying to make myself get to bed and have at least 8 hours, though as a silly college student, I often wind up going to bed later than I should. Still, I figure catching a lucid dream- as well as getting more sleep- will come to me soon enough. I'll learn. ^_^

      And for all of you- thank you again. I'll most definitely let you know if I have any questions.
