When will I know to stop using my dream journal?

      Topic question.

I'm frequently starting to remember my dreams more. Last night I had three. I remember them completely now. Or not so completely. But I do remember them. I know that there is still a few pieces to fill in. But I can still remember about just as much as I did when I woke up. Take away a couple of pieces maybe.

My question is though, when will you know when to stop using a dream journal? It's helped me a lot, I know that, but when you stop using them, do you just stop remembering any more? Should you stop using one after a certain time or what?

Its differernt for everyone. Some people remeber thier dreams after they decide to stop, while others start to forget all of thier dreams again. Others use thier dream journal forever, whiel some never even started one. try going without it if you wish and see how it goes

In personal experience, after stopping using a dream journal my dream recall went down the drain. Sure, you might rememeber 1-3 really crappy, fuzzy dreams that you will forget very quickly if you concentrate and remember your intention to remember your dreams in the morning, but otherwise your recall is gonna be crap without a dream journal

I say keep it going as long as you intend to lucid dream. It can be a pain, but it is nice to look back and read old dreams at the very least.

I'll never stop keeping a dream journal... I don't have that many lucid dreams, but i like to write down my dreams in order to interpret them.
