      stay lucid

      Hi,
i just stubeld upon this site, although i heard about lucid dreaming a few years before.
I just realized that have lucid dreamings almost as often as normal dreaming. But i did never know, that this is not normal, or provides a special techniques.
But i habe a lot of problem to stay lucid in my dreams. Mostly i just awake, when i get lucid in my dreams. But sometimes i can stay a couple of moments lucid in my dreams. But its hard to stay that. For exemple. When I close my eyes in that stage of a dream, i often awake, when i open my eyes again. I mean, i open my eyes in the dream as well in the real world...
Or i just get out of fokus and awake, when i try to control my dreams.

I have this lucid dreamings since I was 10 or 12 years old, and i still can remember that dream when i first got lucid in that dream. Well, I just asked a person in that dream "Hey, isn't that a dream right now?"

And I just realised, that i get ne best results when I take a little nap at the afternoon, or when i stay in bed on a sunday morning and fall asleep again. Perhaps because I'm not sleeping to deeply. I even can chouse the topic I want to dream about before i fall asleep. But I cant control that dream too well. Maybe you schould try that as well.

So, what i want to ask you. what technique should I tray to stay lucid in my dreams, tho control my dream, without getting awake?

      Yours

      Awesome! You are a natural!!
When you realize you are dreaming, try to remain calm...the reason why many of us wake up is b/c we get too excited!
Oh & welcome to the forum!

Hello Lumako. You should try to focus on one object once you realize you are lucid,. focusing on the object will calm you down and "anchor" the elements around you so you do not wake up. Also, you could try to spin around and shout more lucidity. Try it out
