i was dreaming and then felt like a rush was coming to my head. i was so excited/proud/scared (it was a nightmare) that i woke myself up on purpose. i am now trying to communicate using a dream to my sister.

Sounds like a bit of both actually. You may have briefly become lucid. The display of emotions sound a bit similar to a lucid dream. But it may have just been a regular dream. But you woke yourself up. Was that on purpose or from excitement?

Dream to my sister? As in dream sharing?

i knew for certain it was a lucid dream, and woke myself up "on purpose" (see above post lol) i am trying to tell her information while i am sleeping. like saying her name, saying i am dreaming, and telling her one sentence. (its my own little time experiment) im trying to find how much time is passed by unrealized in a short dream.
