Thread: Not really a newbie but newhere

Hi,

Well I've been kicking around on the net since the late 80s, er before it was 'the net', and I've been LDing since before then. Mostly due to intense psycotropic nightmares. Anyway I'm very please to have come across this site - thanks NetStumbler - so now I've bridged for the first time two of some of the things that take up most of my time.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi and let you all know I was here but I'm going to be spending some time attaching names to all these things I already have done and finding out about those things I've yet to discover.

I've got a tonne of questions and things to discuss but I feels it's going to be frustrating all round if people don't know what I'm on about because I don't know the jargon or I'm using the wrong terminology.

Though I'd be interesed mostly to get chatting with anyone who works nights on call. I sleep 2-8 times a day which makes for some interesting experiences.

Hey albal! We're glad to have you here at DV.

Don't worry about asking too many questions or about the terminology. The terms you'll get fairly easily just by wandering around here, and there's also a list of acronyms under the Tutorials forum. There's also a lot of information already here so feel free to search around and see if you questions may have been asked by someone else.

If you want, go ahead and PM any of us Dream Guides (the people in green), or any of the other moderators. See you 'round!
