I am a dreamer, but not the only one.......

Hello all, I have been gifted with vivid dreams; most have been ones that have affected me emotionally to a high degree. I remember my dreams and have had some extremely frightening ones. This has been something that has occurred since I was very young. I have also had dreams that have predicted my future....... I would like to have more control to in the situations that I am in when I am dreaming. I guess I will see where this goes....... I am new and would like to say "Hi" and welcome any possible reflections, advice or direction. Thank you, Wild Dreamer Girl

Yes, in some of my dreams I am aware that I am dreaming. I think that that the ones that are more "tame" in nature are the ones where I am more aware. I know and I have more control in those dreams. This is all very interesting site and since I have been here, shich hasn't been that long, I have lerned many things. I have been having bad nightmares layely. It is hard and draining. i just hope that this works. Has this worked for you?

The thing to do if you have a nightmare is remember that this is only a dream, & that they really cannot hurt you, then try to face up to them.

I hardly ever have nightmares any more, but I know how they can be draining. In yours, why do you think it is that you don't realize that you're dreaming, when in the "tame" ones you can. Or is it that you just can't seem to control the nightmares? Let us know if we can do anything for you. We're glad you're here.! -Amé

welcome you sound like you're a natural. shouldn't be too hard, if you put some effort in. and i spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why "dreamer but not the only 1" seemed so familiar, before remembering its only a line from one of my favourite songs ever *smacks head* imagine..the possibilities of lucid dreaming.
