What you had is called a false awakening: 1st you have a Lucid Dream. Then you "think" you wake up and remember the LD. Then, you really wake up and remember both the LD and the false awakening. Kind of cool, huh! |

A few times I have what feels like a lucid dream at the time, and maybe even woke up for a few minutes and still felt I had a lucid dream. However, when I awoke completely it seemed that I might have actually dreamt I was having a lucid dream. Is this normal, and would you think it is a recall issue? |

Thanks for the input Dust Mote. That is cool, I feel completely awake when it happens. Of course not enough to get out of bed, but I really do think I am awake. Next time I will try a reality check. Ever since the first time I had a LD several years ago, I have been afraid to try to exert too much concentration because it always seems to wake me up. Hopefully, with practice I will be able to control without the fear of waking myself up. |

Hi there. I think I experience the same as you do. |
