noob with some experience and questions

hi first time poster here. i really can't believe i never heard of LDing before i discovered this site, it really is the most over looked abililty we have, but anyways i've been reading dv for awhile and started (when i don't procrastinate ) writing in a dream journal. i've had a few LDs but they weren't extremely vivid, those always seem to be non LDs. i also have the running problem, when i have to run really fast in my dreams sometimes i get nowhere and i never turn lucid from it . i have been trying to WILD for a long time now and i get to a point where i start tumbling or spinning or feels like i'm sleeping on my side when i'm actually laying flat on my back, what does that mean? thanks for reading

Pretty successful so far! Anyway, when you're WILDing you stay conscious while the mind disconnects itself from the body. Feels very strange, from vibrations to vertigo. All that's happening is your brain stem is being partially shut off so that movements in your dreams don't become movements in real life. During the process you get some really odd sensations, including audial hallucinations, which are (personally) the freakiest part.

Yeah it sounds to me like you're experienceing normal WILD sensations. Just relax and let them flow, realize that they are all in your head and of your own making and you may be able to turn that into a sort of lucid dream, perhaps even get a WILD down
God, grant me the courage the change the things I can, the serenity to accept the things I can't, and the wisdom to know the difference...

thanks for replying and the help. A successful WILD would be great, makes me smile just thinking about it. and as for the audial hallucinations, im not sure if i've experienced it yet. I really could do without that anyways, i can't imagine it being total silence and then out of nowhere hearing extremely loud tearing metal like some people say
