Hi everyone!I am a new member.I just decided to register as I 'm very interested in dreams and the paranormal in general.I 'm a 20 year-old girl from Greece.
I have had many experiences with dreams.Like I have seen images in my dreams and experienced situations that later on I saw and experienced in reality and it was quite surprising in the beggining.I have also had many lucid dreams but I haven't managed to control any of my dreams yet.Well,I can't wait to talk to you, guys and read your very interesting posts.

Yes, I have had lucid dreams and been able to control them. I don't have them very often, but at least once a month. The best thing to do is keep a dream journal. You will start to become more aware of your dreams with this. Second, start doing reality checks. There are many threads discussing different techniques. I personally like the clock one, but it does not always work when I am in a dream (like last night for instance). Lastly, there are a number of things you can do in your dream if you feel you are going to loose lucidity. The best way for me is to start spinning around really fast. Just don't get frustrated. All of this takes time and it is different with every person.

I too, also welcome you to this forum!!
It is quite common for someone who tries to LD, or control their dreams to get overexcited & wake up. The solution to this is to try to calm down, and enjoy it. Then slowly grasp control.

Glad to have you aboard, Cassandra. You'll learn new things everyday on this site - and you're right, it's very addicting! I've found that just being on the forum and in the dreaming state of mind, makes me have better recall and more lucid dreams.

      Good Luck!
