I had know idea that people would try to purposely experience this type of wacked out horrible feeling. I still have much research to do on this .However, now that I know about this site I'm pretty psyched. My question is why would someone want to do this intentionally ? |

SP does suck . However, I'm 32 and it has happened to me numerous times since i was a child so thats not as big of a deal as the feeling I get when I realize I am dreaming. When i realize i am dreaming with in seconds my body gets this wierd feeling thats impossible to describe in the past the only way that i could describe it as as death.Do i have issues or does this make sense? |

Thank you for all the replies .Like i said I had no idea about the term LD or that other people have SP up untill today .I have tons of questions .But ,I would like to do some reading on LD first .For right now i'm just happy that I found this site.I think I will be renting vanilla sky tonight. |

I haven't seen Vanilla Sky, but probably the most cited film that includes information about lucid dreaming is "Waking Life." I'd recommend that highly. Some of it's kind of odd and a little to philosophical for my tastes, but it does give some good insights. |
