      A beginning? Or just fear...

I'd like to start off by saying hello to all of you, I'm new to the forum!

I stumbled across this website in a unique way. It was very late... about 3am-ish, I was listening to some ambient music. The song was titled something like "Lucid Dreams" or something of the sort. As I was listening a man in the background was talking about lucid dreaming, and how to do it, its effects, and other dreamer's experiences. This is how I found out about it. So I decided to type it in google and read about it for awhile. I then decided to see it it'd work. I read that this was a very exciting experience as well. I got off of my computer around 4am, and as I tried to go to sleep I was thinking about the area I'd like to go to....

      And then...

As my eyes close, I felt a VERY tense feeling within me, I felt as if I was weighed down in the bed(which happened about twice).. I thought.. what'd would I do if I had a nightmare of some sort? I got back up and turned the lights on. I figured that if I had continued I would have had my lucid dream..... do you think so? Was it just fear leading me on to nothing? Share your thoughts.
