A new life in your dreams?

Before I go on, I'd like to say hi and I'm new. That being said, I'd like to know if it's a possibility to start basicly a seperate life in your dreams? Not entirely like leaving your real life and recreating it, but just 7-12 hours of what ever you please to do, or is it not that simple? Just curious.

Theoretically, a lot is possible in dreams, including having an LD that seems to last 9 hours or even longer every night i suppose. Practically, though, dreams will usually last much shorter and you won't be able to have a lucid dream every night.
Also, when you're saying 7-9 hours I assume you mean having a LD that lasts for your entire period of sleep. That is, however, impossible, seeing as you go through 5 different stages of sleep, and you only have dreams (either lucid or normal) in the 5th stage: REM-sleep.

Oh, and welcome to Dreamviews btw ^.^

It is possible, however, to continue a consistent "story-line" from dream to dream...provided you are having consecutive lucid dreams.
