As DuB and TygrHawk have stated, dream recall is absolutely key in LDing. If you work hard at remembering them, by using a DJ or just waking up and immediately after concentrating on what you just drempt, you will make progress. |

I agree with most everyone. You have to work at it. For some reason I find that I just don't remember my dreams after I wake, but it's more like I experience them and then I remember the experience. |

Also, besides a dream journal, another effective way of remembering your dreams is to do the wbtb, a technique for inducing lucid dreams. it makes dream recall easier because instead of being in a deep sleep the whole night which makes it hard to remember, for part of the night you're dreaming while more awake and aware which helps. Also, its likely that you'll have a lucid dream during this time and a lot of people tend to wake up right after that instead of going on to other stages of sleep. |
