      I dreamed I had a Lucid Dream

      last night in my dream I realized I was dreaming and it got so intense when i realized it that it woke me up, but I woke up in the dream. and then i tried explaining to my parents what a lucid dream was and what had just happened. this all still happening in my dream.

      Very cool. First you had a Lucid Dream, then you had a false awakening. I've never had an FA myself.

      Congratulations on your successful LD! I have become lucid within a dream before by dreaming I was lucid. Of course, it frustrated me at the time, but it is still an LD.

      I have dreamed of having a lucid dream too. I was dreaming that I was having a lucid dream and I was shouting 'I'm having a lucid dream, I'm having a lucid dream'. But I'm not sure that this was a lucid dream. It wasn't exactly that I knew I was dreaming. I think it was my dreaming self that was having a lucid dream, not me. On another occasion I had 3 consecutive false awakenings but it was my dreaming self that had them again. I was dreaming that I was somewhere and I suddenly I woke up. I didn't wake up in my real room but in my dream room. When I woke up I thought wow I just had a lucid dream but then I woke up again in my dream room. My boyfriend was there so i told him what happened and I asked if now I am really awake or asleep. Of course he said I was awake but then I woke up again. This was getting very frastrating. I didn' t know if I was awake or dreaming so I started asking people in my sleep what was happening. Then my boyfriend changed what he was saying before and now he was trying to convince me that i was dreaming. But I couldn't believe it because I had just woken up (I thought). I was very happy to finally wake up to real life!!
      I don'nt know if this was a lucid dream, a pre-lucid dream or some other kind of dream. And the fasle awakenings where false awakenings that my dreaming self had. So I really don't know what to make of this dream. It really confused me. Has anyone had a dream like that?
