Thread: Lucid Dreaming and I didn't even know

In the past month I've experienced about 4 lucid dreams that I can remember. I originally thought I was kind of odd because I had these dreams. They only started recently, but I found in my last dream that I could control the entire thing.
I was trying to fall asleep when I saw a screen with Looney Toons characters on it. I knew I wasn't asleep yet, but I could see the screen. So then I started feeling like I was falling asleep, and the dream world kind of slowly developed around the tv in my room. I was conscious of my dream the entire time. I went flying, used superpowers, visited my family and my gf.
I was wondering if this is a big accomplishment or if I should try doing the same thing or what. I just looked this up today because I was wondering how many other people have the same sorts of dreams or if I was just crazy, but looks like I'm not so that's good.
One other random thing. I read the site and it mentioned something about two people having dreams together. Does anyone hear believe in that or does anyone have those dreams? Thanks.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive lucid dream for being new at it. Heck it was pretty impressive even for us more experienced LDers! So yeah, I think you should start a dream journal and try to have some more man.

As far as the shared dreaming thing you mentioned, I personally don't buy it. But there is a section on this forum where it's discussed along with other related stuff like that, if you're interested: Beyond Dreaming.

Hey there and welcome to the forum!!
That LD sounds really cool, and it almost sounds like you had a WILD. And controlling it on that makes it very worthwhile, so congrats!
If you want to try to have more, or recall more, you should start a DJ, like OpheliaBlue suggested. Same thing with DSing, you should look it up in Beyond Dreaming, like OpheliaBlue also suggested. I personally believe in it's existance, but believe it is a matter of being good at LDing (both of you), and a matter of luck!
And if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Looks like you are in the right place! Welcome to the forum. As Ophelia pointed out, there are sections of the forum devoted to whatever you might be interested in. You are obviously good at LDing, so I hope you stick around long enough to try and help some of the other learning LDers.
