      MILD Starting to Work?

Hi! I'm relatively new to the world of lucid dreaming, but the topic just sort of pulled me in.

Last night, I tried the MILD technique along with starting a dream journal. I didn't get an LD (didn't expect to either) but I did wake up after each dream period! Is this a sign that I could be getting closer?

One more thing. I sometimes have dreams that feel real - that include all the senses, like I'm living in the dream. Is this a step towards lucidity also?

Lucids so far: 4 (3 DILD, 1 FILD) Although most are just DALDs.

Definately a good sign. Keep on keeping on. It will take awhile to master the technique, but you are making progress.

      :)

Yeah, I was pretty happy to see it happening the first time I tried.

I've already recognized my dreamsign, which is probably good. But one more question.

To maximize my chances of doing an RC in a dream, I regularly do ones in real life, just for habit. Will this help or is it just a waste of time? Or should I do it before dreaming / after waking up from a dream?

Hard to say for sure. It's never worked that way for me, but other people say that they can achieve LDs this way.

Doing a RC upon waking up is always a good idea, because you never know when it might be a false awakening.
