Couple quick questions about lucid dreaming.

First of this is my first post and I found this site because in the past 6 months or so I've had probably 10-15 lucid dreams and I wanted to look into it. I didn't know there was a whole site about this and that you can actually get better at it.

My first question is I was reading someones story and they said they have to refrain from having sex dreams when they are in a lucid state. I was wondering what the mean because of the 10-15 about 5-6 i have had control over and the majority were sex dreams that went very well

Second thing I was wondering if anybody believes the thing about if bad things or tretchorous things happen to you in dream you can actually suffer a heart attack or soemthing from experiemcing this.

      Thanks-Sam

sinc this is a Couple quick questions about lucid dreaming thread,i wanted to ask a few things:
When is a LD state,do u have to(for exemple)imagine exetly how space will look like of u only give the platform, and ur imagination does the rest by it sailf??
A few times i had a LD but when i tryed to move i instently wake up(it was a LD only for 10 sec after i realised that it was a dream)how do i provent this?

Welcome to the forum, Sam. You don't need to refrain from having sex in your dreams. Some people get a little over excited in sex dreams and wake up, but if you already know your reaction, it shouldn't matter. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Second, if something happens to you in your dream, chances are you will be just fine in real life. I don't think a heart attack will be an issue.

I guess that would work. Your unconsious mind is very good at filling in blank parts that you don't create consciously in your dream.

Try to focus on staying lucid, kind of like an in-dream MILD. Also if you are too exited it can trigger you to wake up.

I reckon that the chances of that are pretty darn remote, but perhaps possible
