I definitely went to sleep conscious last night, plunged straight into a dream, and then couldn't go lucid. Clue was being back in america and using my debit card, and i knew i'd come home!! |

Do you go to sleep concious or unconcious when you try to have a LD? |

'all of the moments that already passed/
try to go back and make them last.'
Usually, unless I am set on doing a WILD, I just drift away until I enter a dream. |

I don't know how to answer. I am often conscious for a brief moment while my mind begins to go into "autopilot mode" (very similar to dreaming, except everything is still only happening in my mind) and I lose awareness. I eventually lose consciousness until the next time I wake up after a dream. I only remember what was going on in "autopilot mode" if I happen to cycle back to full awareness instead of going to sleep. Even then, my memory of what I was thinking about is usually very fuzzy. |
|
Unconscious. Most of my LDs are DILDs. |
|
Unconcious i guess, I tend to focus on dream recall before I sleep, but I just drift off until I by chance DILD. |
|
It depends, if I'm trying or not |
